Description
A discussion hosted by NIOD ImageLab and the Research Centre for Material Culture (RCMC). Historian Susie Protschky mapped out a plan for placing the many thousands of photographs taken by Dutch soldiers during their deployment to Indonesia between 1945 and 1950 within a longer historical context of military photography and colonial violence. This discussion is the second in the History's Darkroom Discussion Series organized by NIOD ImageLab and is co-hosted by the RCMC.
