Acidobacterial EPS degraders uraveled by stable isotope probing - Shotgun Metagenomics sequencing

Dataset

Description

Stable isotope probing was used to evaluate which microorganisms, bacteria and fungi, were involved in the assimilation of an exopolysaccharide (EPS) produced by the acidobacterial strain Granulicella WH15. The strain was grown in culture medium with labeled glucose, in order to produce labeled EPS. The EPS was extracted, the polysaccharide purified and incubated with soil. This is the shotgun metagenomics data derived from this study
