About

Hella Hollander is Data Station Manager Archaeology at DANS.

Hella has a research background in archaeology and received her master at Leiden University with her pioneering research on the traces (production and use) on weaving tools made of animal bones. 

Working at DANS since 2010 she is an expert in sustained access and re-use of digital research data. Previously she was head of the archiving team at DANS and international projectleader. Currently, she is Data Station Manager Archaeology. Hella is project manager of different infrastructures, projects and other co-creations like ARIADNE, 4CH, Iperion-HS, Pure3D, Limes and Exalt. Hella is member of the board of E-rihs.NL in which Dutch partners work on a European Infrastructure for Heritage Science.
