I am a senior bioinformatician with a broad interest in (post-)genomics analysis, evolution, microbial interactions, cell signaling, metabolic pathways, and pathogenetic mechanisms. In the past five years, my research mainly focuses on using statistical and machine/deep learning methods for integrative analysis of diverse omics (e.g. genomes, transcriptomes and proteomes) for discovering key genes and their regulatory mechanisms associated with fungal physiology, to enhance our understanding of fungal biodiversity, ecological roles and facilitate relevant applications.
