EHRI Fellowship

Prize: Fellowship awarded competitively

Description

During her 4 weeks EHRI Fellowship at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum (USHMM, Washington D.C.), Marjo Bakker studied the concept of 'Collections as a Service': how to develop access to Holocaust collections into a service for different categories of end users. David Lankes’s provocative saying “Bad libraries build collections. Good libraries build services (of which a collection is only one). Great libraries build communities” was her guideline.
