Abstract
The film "Bouwen te midden van eenzaamheid" is a public outreach project based on a collection of letters held by the International Institute of Social History and relates the experiences of Dutch architect Han van Loghem and his wife Berthe Neumeijer during their stay in the town of Kemerovo, Siberia, to plan and build workers’ housing in the Autonomous Industrial Colony (AIK Kuzbass).
