Abstract

The Guidelines follow the conceptual metadata model (deliverable 17.2). They include guidelines for description of collection-holding institutions, document collections, organisations, personalities, events, camps and ghettos. As much as possible the guidelines comply with the descriptive standards issued by the International Council on Archives. In cases where no relevant standards exist, we have drafted new guidelines, following the format of the ICA standards.
