Abstract
This document outlines the current state of the ODISSEI Portal and the DANS Data Station for the Social Sciences and Humanities (SSH) and their connection.
We first provide background of both applications and then describe their connection, outlining commonalities and differences.
Finally, we discuss the maintenance of both applications and possible directions for future developments of the Portal and the Data Station. The section on future directions is not exhaustive or directive, but merely outlines developments which seem possible at the current point in time. Based on this initial document and feedback that we will receive (e.g. from the ODISSEI Management Board), an updated version of this document will be created, as well as a proposal for the future.
