Abstract
Using object storage achieves three main objectives: it enhances security with data-at-rest encryption, offers near-infinite scalability, and reduces costs. Keeping data within one geographic region ensures GDPR compliance, and supporting backup by replicating data to secondary storage. Integrating S3 with Dataverse facilitates efficient storage management and simplifies data migration between locations if needed.
