Abstract
This articles describes the evolution of the memories of the nazi-concentration camps, particularly in the Netherlands. The history of the Dutch Auschwitz Committee, founded in the 50's, illustrates the growing importance of the memory of the Persecution of the Jews from the 60's as wel as the transnationalisation of the Holocaust memory culture since the 90's.
