Beschrijving

Present-day archaeology uses a wide array of digital methods and
techniques, ranging from GIS, photogrammetry and 3D visualisation to
data mining and simulation modelling. In this course, students will
learn to critically reflect on how digital techniques influence all
aspects of current archaeological practice, from research design to data
collection and analysis, and to presentation and sharing of research
outcomes. The course is based on project-based learning, in which teams
of students will work on actual case studies and present their findings
in an open seminar.
