Samenvatting
The present paper treats several cercosporoid specimens collected in Brazil, and reported by Viégas (1945) as new records of Cercospora spp. for this country. Ten specimens representing different Brazilian records are treated, and new combinations and names are proposed in Mycovellosiella, Passalora and Pseudocercospora. New combinations are also proposed to rectify the nomenclature of Pseudocercospora spp. described from Aspidosperma and Richardsonia in Brazil. Furthermore, several specimens from other countries were also examined, and new taxa proposed in several genera including Phaeoramularia and Scolecostigmina.
