Samenvatting

Research Data Management in Polifonia is a firm part of the overall knowledge management in the project. This third DMP version documents the final status of data management using exclusively the perspective of the Polifonia Research Ecosystem approach and its living instance. As for the previous versions of the DMP, we use the template of the Open Research Data (ORDP). While for the first and second version of the DMP we deviated from just given answers to the usual questions, and discussed our approaches to the dimensions of the ORDP, this time we return to the original template in a more rigid way. In particular, in the section FAIR Data we answer all questions using examples from the Polifonia Research Ecosystem to illustrate our response. We add an introduction and conclusion section to the ORDP template.

In the section 1 Introduction we point to the specific role of the Polifonia Research Ecosystem approach in managing knowledge exchange and coordination of the knowledge production process in the Polifonia project and introduce into the main structure of the Research Ecosystem. In particular, we detail how the Data type component relates to other major component types such as Tools and Reports. We further illustrate the use of the github based implementation of the Research Ecosystem including the Polifonia Ecosystem (v2.0) website, which we recommend to visit next to reading this document.

We continue following the structure of the Open Research Data Pilot template with its sections: Data Summary; FAIR Data; Allocation of Resources; Data security; Ethical Aspects; Other Aspects.
