Samenvatting

Data Archiving and Networked Services (DANS) promotes sustained access to digital research data. For this purpose, DANS encourages researchers to archive and reuse data in a sustained form. In the online archiving system EASY research data is stored in a permanent and sustainable manner, according to the guidelines of the international Data Seal of Approval. Each datasets receives a Digital Object Identifier (DOI), facilitating the citation of research data. The metadata of all datasets in EASY are harvested by NARCIS (www.narcis.nl), further increasing the findability of the data. Since 2011 DANS also hosts datasets related to the Greynet community. Besides data supplementing the publications in The Grey Journal and the Grey Literature Conference Proceedings, EASY provides access to the data related to the Greynet Enhanced Publications Project (see http://dx.doi.org/10.17026/dans-zp3-pd7e). To further promote the use of EASY by the Greynet community and raise the awareness of the procedures, this poster will guide the user through the steps of depositing data at DANS, from preparing the data to the final step of publishing.
