Abstract
In 1940 dr W.H. Posthumus-van der Goot organized a charitative action for the women in war stricken Finland. Under the name 'For the Women of Finland'. This action raised the amount of fl. 34,000 (now appr. 350,000 euro) but has been forgotten in popular action. This article, in the magazine of the Dutch Finnish Association, puts the spot light on this particular action as well as its initiator.
